Automation Assessment
Find the Right Opportunities to Automate Your Marketing Operations
A standalone consulting engagement for businesses that want to understand where automation can create practical value, before they spend on tools or builds.
Who it's for: marketing, operations and revenue leaders who suspect too much time goes into manual work but are unsure what to automate first, what it would take, or whether AI is the right answer.
Why an assessment first
Automating the wrong thing is an expensive way to learn.
The assessment gives you evidence for the decision before any build begins.
- 01
It separates real opportunities from hype
Not every workflow should be automated, and not every automation needs AI. We help you tell the difference.
- 02
It surfaces data and integration obstacles early
Poor data, missing access or locked-down platforms are far cheaper to discover now than mid-build.
- 03
It gives you a sequenced plan
Priorities are ordered by value against complexity so the first project is a sensible one.
- 04
It keeps your options open
The roadmap is yours. You can implement with Interadtive, another partner, or your own team.
Proposed assessment scope
Six areas of work.
This is the proposed structure. The exact scope is tailored and confirmed with you before the engagement starts.
01
Business objectives and workflow discovery
We clarify what the business is trying to achieve and walk through the workflows in scope with the people who run them.
02
Marketing technology and CRM inventory
We catalogue the platforms, CRM configuration and ownership that the workflows rely on.
03
Data availability and integration readiness
We check what data exists, how clean it is, and whether the systems can be connected safely.
04
Automation opportunity identification
We identify candidate automations and classify each as rule-based, AI-assisted, or not worth automating.
05
Value-versus-complexity prioritization
We weigh expected benefit against effort, risk and dependencies, and agree the ranking with you.
06
Implementation roadmap and recommendations
We assemble a sequenced plan with oversight requirements and next steps.
Potential deliverables
Documents you can act on.
The final list is confirmed in the written scope. Depth depends on the size of the area reviewed.
Current-state workflow map
How the in-scope work is done today, who does it, and which tools and data it touches.
Prioritized automation opportunities
A ranked list, each opportunity described in plain language with its expected benefit and effort.
Integration feasibility assessment
Whether your systems, access and data can support each opportunity, and what would need to change.
Risk and human-oversight requirements
Where review, approval and data safeguards are needed, and who should own them.
Implementation roadmap
A sequenced plan with dependencies and decision points, usable with any implementation partner.
Optional implementation proposal
If you want to proceed, a scoped proposal for the first priority. There is no obligation to continue.
How it runs
From first conversation to roadmap.
- 1
Scoping conversation
We discuss your objectives and the areas to review, then send a written proposal.
- 2
Scope, timeline and pricing confirmed
You approve the scope, schedule and fee in writing before work begins. Nothing starts without that agreement.
Confirmed before engagement
- 3
Discovery and review
We interview the people involved, review systems and data under access you control, and map the workflows.
- 4
Analysis and prioritization
We assess opportunities, feasibility and risk, and test our thinking with you.
- 5
Readout and roadmap
We present the findings and deliver the roadmap and any optional implementation proposal.
What to expect
Scope, timeline and pricing are confirmed with you before any engagement begins, and none are published here. The assessment is analysis and planning only: we do not build, connect or change anything in your systems. Building is a separate AI implementation engagement with its own written scope. We do not promise specific savings or results. The assessment tells you what looks feasible and worthwhile on the evidence, including when the answer is that a process should stay manual.
FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Who is the assessment for?
Businesses with meaningful manual marketing or lead-handling work that want a clear, evidence-based view of what to automate before committing budget.
How is this different from an AI implementation?
An assessment produces decisions: what to automate, in what order, and what it would take. An implementation builds and launches specific workflows. You can start with an assessment, or go straight to an implementation if you already know what to automate.
Do I have to hire Interadtive to implement afterwards?
No. The roadmap is yours to use with any partner or an in-house team. An implementation proposal is optional.
What access will you need?
Interviews with the relevant people and, where needed, read-only or limited access to systems that you grant and can revoke. We agree this in advance.
How long does it take and what does it cost?
It depends on how many workflows and systems are in scope. We confirm scope, timeline and pricing in writing before the engagement begins.
Will the assessment tell me how much I will save?
It estimates relative value and effort to help you prioritise. It does not guarantee specific savings.
Does everything need to be AI?
No. We classify each opportunity as rule-based automation, AI-assisted, or not worth automating.
